Shipping & Delivery
We're committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible. Here's what you need to know about our shipping process:
When Will My Order Ship?
Lead times vary by product. You'll find the estimated lead time on each product page.
- In-stock items in our warehouses typically ship within 1-2 business days.
- If your product is coming directly from a supplier or manufacturer, the lead time reflects our best estimate based on our experience with them. Please note that we have more control over items in our own warehouses.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated based on your delivery location, order weight, and product dimensions. We offer shipping via both USPS, UPS and FedEx.
- Most orders for stocked products ship within 1-2 business days if placed by 1:00 PM Eastern Time. Orders received on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday.
Expedited Orders
Need it faster?
- Expedited options include 3 Days Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air.
- Please note: large items shipping via LTL cannot be shipped expedited or by air.
- Delivery times for expedited shipping do not include non-business days (weekends or holidays).
Tracking Your Shipment
- FedEx/UPS/USPS Shipments: Once your shipment is confirmed by FedEx/UPS/USPS, you'll receive an email with a link to track your order directly on their website.
- Freight Shipments: For heavier products shipped via freight carriers, you'll receive a tracking number and estimated delivery time once confirmed. You can track your shipment on the freight carrier's website and may call them to schedule a delivery time.
Inventory and Backorders
We strive to keep our lead times updated frequently, but inventory can change quickly throughout each day.
- If a product is on backorder, we'll email you with an estimated ship date.
- To minimize your wait, we'll attempt to ship directly from the manufacturer to you whenever possible.
- Even if your order ships in multiple packages, the total shipping charge will never exceed the quote provided at checkout.
Our Return Policy
We want your return process to be as smooth and quick as possible. Our promise is to process your return and refund within 5 business days, provided you follow our guidelines.
How Our 5-Day Return Promise Works:
- Day 1: You complete and submit the RMA form.
- Day 2: If your form is complete, we issue a return label.
- Day 3: You ship the item back to us.
- Day 4: As soon as we receive your product in good condition, we issue your refund.
Return Materials Authorization (RMA)
To start a return, please request our Return Materials Authorization (RMA) form from our Customer Support Team. Our Customer Support Team will promptly email you an RMA number and a shipping return label. Returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted and will delay your refund.
Product Return Eligibility
Eligible Products
Most products can be returned within 30 days of the delivery date if they are brand new, unused, and in their original packaging.
- You are responsible for the return shipping cost, unless the product is damaged or defective.
- Please pack returns carefully to ensure items are returned in a safe, unbroken condition.
- You will be credited the original amount, minus a 30% restocking fee, via your original payment method.
Non-Eligible Products
We cannot accept returns for items that are not in their original condition, including those that have been:
- Used or installed
- Have missing parts
- Have destroyed original packaging
- Are otherwise not in original, resalable condition
Additionally, the following items are non-returnable:
- Large items shipping via LTL (including industrial vacuums)
Restocking Fee
A 30% restocking fee applies to all eligible product returns.
Damaged Item Returns
Eligibility Period: 5 business days from delivery date
If you receive a damaged package, please contact us immediately and request our Return Material Authorization (RMA) form. We may ask for pictures of the damaged items to speed up the process. We will swiftly ship replacement items.
- Keep all damaged packaging, as the carrier may want to inspect the goods and box at your delivery address.
- We may or may not request the return of the damaged goods. If we do, we will provide either a call tag or a prepaid return label.
Defective Item Returns
Eligibility Period: 30 days from delivery date (unless otherwise noted)
Defective items will be fully refunded, and we will cover the return shipping cost.
- Since all products are sold under a manufacturer's warranty, please first contact the manufacturer to report the defect. Request a ticket number or contact name from them.
- Once you've done this, request and fill out our Return Materials Authorization (RMA) form.
- Depending on the original shipping method, we will issue a call tag or send a prepaid return label for the merchandise. You are responsible for return shipping costs if you don't use one of these provided methods.
- If the merchandise fails during the manufacturer's warranty period but more than one year after your purchase date, Garage Vacs™ reserves the right to refer you directly to the manufacturer for replacement.
Order Cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled or changed once they have shipped. If you wish to cancel an order that has already shipped, you'll need to initiate a return using a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) form. You will be responsible for shipping the items back to us and any applicable restocking fees for the order and return shipping charges.
